III Warsaw Cyber ​​Conference

On May 23, 2018 at the Warsaw School of Management-University took place Warsaw Cyberconference Fri "Third Generation of Cybersecurity-Cyber ​​Intelligence-Cryptology ”..

This year's edition was especially targeted at representatives of uniformed services and the army, and was jointly organized by the Warsaw School of Management - University and the European Cyber ​​Intelligence Institute. Speech on the topic "Education as the basis of cybersecurity " the conference was opened by dr inż. Waldemar Gajada - Rector of the Warsaw School of Management-University.

The conference program consisted of two panels, namely the technology panel entitled "Third generation cybersecurity solutions - from general to detail ", and a scientific panel with speakers from cybersecurity practitioners and a scientific panel entitled "The impact of new technologies on human life in the context of cybersecurity threats ”.

The technology panel featured mostly practitioners representing institutions and companies dealing with cybersecurity. On the other hand, in the scientific panel, papers were presented by researchers dealing with this issue from the theoretical side. In both panels, the most attention was paid to threats in cyberspace and identifying their sources, cyber attacks and cybersecurity management at the level of enterprises and state administration.

The first panel presented the latest cybersecurity technologies. as well as issues related to cybersecurity of the Central Airport. At the end of the session, there was a discussion on: Education as an integral element of cybersecurity, combined with a demonstration of new technologies in education.

During the break, there was a presentation of the MUCHA drone, intended for crisis response. In the presentations of the scientific panel, on the one hand, the benefits and facilities resulting from the use of the latest information technologies were indicated, and on the other hand - the resulting threats, especially for privacy; incl. the danger of mass surveillance was indicated.

It is worth adding that the papers presented in the scientific panel will be published in a collective monograph, which will also include some speeches from the technology panel. At the end of the session, the most important theses and thoughts presented during the technology and scientific panel were highlighted.
