  12. Each situation of an applicant for the adaptation of the teaching process is considered individually, in accordance with the idea of equalizing opportunities and rational adaptation to the needs resulting from disability.
  13. All persons participating in the procedure of granting adaptation of the teaching process are obliged to protect sensitive data related to the disability or health condition of the person applying for adaptation and not to disclose them to unauthorized persons. Detailed documentation submitted by the person applying for adaptation, including specialist medical documentation, is stored at PON WSZ-SW and may be presented to the Dean through a personal meeting of the educational advisor with the Dean of Studies. In case of any doubts concerning the process of granting adaptation on the part of the student, this documentation may be presented to the Rector of WSZ-SW.

Educational strategy

This model illustrates how inclusive education can be implemented in practice, indicates the division of competences and responsibilities related to ensuring equal opportunities in access to education for students with disabilities. It consists of three pillars:

  • of the student, because it is at his / her request that any actions aimed at equalizing the chances are taken at all. It is the student who is responsible for his studies and decides whether he needs support,
  • Department of Disabled People WSZ-SW, the educational advisor may offer the student possible types of support at WSZ-SW, selected individually to the student's needs. PON WSZ-SW is a body that reviews the impact of a student's health situation on his / her ability to fulfill academic duties,
  • academic staff - academic teachers have subject knowledge in the field of subjects and knowledge about the competences that a student should have after completing a given course. In addition, they are people who implement the educational support strategies developed between the student and the PON WSZ-SW educational advisor in the didactic process.
