The Warsaw School of Management-University co-organizes the conference during the XXVIII International Defense Industry Exhibition

The Warsaw School of Management-University was a co-organizer of the National Scientific Conference entitled "Defense industry activities for the state's critical and defense infrastructure ". Its co-organizers were also: the Institute of International Relations and Public Policies together with the Department of Safety Sciences at the Faculty of Law and Social Sciences of the Jan Kochanowski University in Kielce and Targi Kielce SA together with other partners: the University of Economics, Law and Medical Sciences in Kielce, Staropolska Szkoła Wyższa , The Air Force Institute of Technology, the Polish Industrial and Defense Agency and the Polish Industrial Lobby.

The conference was held as part of the XXVIII International Defense Industry Exhibition on September 8, 2020 at Targi Kielce SA in Kielce. The objectives of the Conference were as follows:

  1. Presentation of the essence, functions and tasks of the state's critical and defense infrastructure.
  2. Analysis of the relationship between the state's critical and defense infrastructure.
  3. Characteristics of entities constituting the state's critical and defense infrastructure.
  4. Showing the possibilities of the Polish defense industry and its research and development base in meeting the needs of the state's critical and defense infrastructure.
  5. Presentation of defense industry products that strengthen and modernize the state's critical and defense infrastructure.
  6. Presentation of methods and tools for financing the activities and products of the Polish defense industry, serving critical and defense infrastructure.

 During the conference, 9 papers were delivered, which will be published in the form of a collective monograph by the ELIPSA Publishing House.

The Scientific Council consisted of, inter alia, prof. teach dr inż. Waldemar Gajda - president of WSZ-SW and prof. teach dr hab. Paweł Soroka - Dean of WSZ-SW, who was also the chairman of the Organizing Committee of the Conference.
