POST-GRADUATE STUDIES OF PERSONNEL MANAGEMENT

The studies last 2 semesters (1 year)

Intended mainly for HR managers / chiefs, employees of HR departments of enterprises, psychologists, educators, labor sociologists, lawyers and people who intend to acquire such knowledge and position.

The studies are practical and prepare them for professional management of the company's employee potential and for work in the personnel department.

The basis of stationary classes are exercises, psycho and sociodrama, staging and simulations, computer games, development trainings, presentations of achievements, problem seminars, classes in consulting teams, etc.

The studies end with an oral final exam and writing a thesis accepted by the supervisor.

The program of full-time classes includes, among others the following subjects and topics:

1. Module: ORGANIZATION AS A SOCIAL SYSTEM (14 hours) - 2 points. ECTS

  • On the essence of the organization (1 hour)
  • Man in the organization (3 hours)
  • Philosophies and models of human resource management (3 hours)
  • The social structure of the enterprise (3 hours)
  • Humanization of work (4 hours)

2. Module: METHODS AND TECHNIQUES OF PERSONNEL MANAGEMENT (82 hours) - 18 points. ETCS

  • Planning of personnel in the enterprise (3 hours)
  • Demand and supply in the labor market (2 hours)
  • Strategic management of the social potential of the enterprise (6 hours)
  • Personal politics. Selection, selection and evaluation of personnel (12 hours)
  • Interview training (4 hours)
  • HR in action (14 hours)
  • Workplace analysis (3 hours)
  • Negotiations in personnel management (8 hours)
  • Selected elements of labor law (14 hours)
  • Cooperation of line management with the human resources service (4 hours)
  • HR procedures - basic documents and activities (3 hours)
  • HR policy in the process of managing changes in the organization (6 hours)
  • HR and payroll IT system (using computers) (3 hours)

3. Module: PSYCHOLOGICAL INDICATORS OF EMPLOYEE EFFICIENCY (30 hours) -9 ECTS points

  • Methods and techniques of personality research (4 hours)
  • Psychological methods in the personnel selection process (3 hours)
  • Motivating employees. Non-wage incentives (6 hours)
  • Employee evaluation system. Functions and assumptions (5 hours)
  • Internal communication in the company (6 hours)
  • Characteristic determinants of human professional effectiveness (6 hours)

4. Module: MATERIAL INCENTIVE SYSTEMS (25 hours) - 7 ECTS points

  • Job evaluation and optimization of the payroll system (4 hours)
  • Selected methods of searching for sources of wage increases in the enterprise (4 hours)
  • Motivational remuneration systems (3 hours)
  • Job valuation (6 hours)
  • Designing effective remuneration systems (5 hours)
  • Social package for employees (3 hours)

5. Module: THE ART OF DIRECTING PEOPLE (34 hours) - 8 ECTS points

  • On the essence of the manager and his work (2 hours)
  • Diagnostics of staffing problems (4 hours)
  • Team forms of work organization (4 hours)
  • Conflicts: origins, disclosure and resolution (6 hours)
  • Professional ethics - selected problems (6 hours)
  • Personnel management decision making (8 hours)
  • Psychological profile of an efficient manager (4 hours)

6.Module: DEVELOPMENT AND IMPROVEMENT OF EMPLOYEES (10 hours) - 4 ECTS points

  • Labor market and education (2 hours)
  • Employee improvement (4 hours)
  • Building professional development paths (4 hours)

7. DIPLOMA SEMINAR (8 hours) - 8 ECTS points

Total: 203 hours
60 ECTS points

 Classes will be held at the seat of the university in Warsaw at ul. Siedmiogrodzka 3A every two weeks in the weekend mode - on Saturdays and Sundays (8 teaching hours a day).

Tuition fees for studies are:
