On May 25, 2019, at the headquarters of the Warsaw School of Management-University, the International Scientific Conference entitled "Business management in the social teaching of the Church " in memory of Fr. prof. Mieczysław Lubański - former Rector of our University.
The scientific topics of the Conference included the following topics:
1. Tasks and responsibilities of entrepreneurs and employers in papal encyclicals.
2. The Christian concept of enterprise and economy.
3. Theology of human work.
4. Subjective relations between employers and employees.
5. The spirituality of the employer and the employee.
6. Business ethics.
7. Pastoral care of entrepreneurs and employers.
8. Experiences of Catholic organizations of entrepreneurs.
9. Innovation as the basis of social development.
10. Selected aspects of creation, knowledge, management and social development.
11. Competitiveness, quality
The conference was attended by: Metropolitan of Warsaw, Fr. Cardinal Dr. Kazimierz Nycz, rectors of universities cooperating with the Warsaw School of Management-University, scientists from the Cardinal Stefan Wyszyński University and clergy cooperating with Fr. prof. M. Lubański and scientists from abroad and employers of Catholic organizations of entrepreneurs. The guests and participants of the conference were welcomed by the President of WSZ-SW, Dr. Eng. Waldemar Gajda.At the beginning of the Conference, Cardinal Kazimierz Nycz unveiled a plaque giving one of the halls of WSZ-SW the name of Fr. prof. Mieczysław Lubański and consecrated the cross.
The first plenary session began prof. Ph.D. Anna Latawiec - Dean of the Faculty of Philosophy of the UKSW - as a person closely cooperating with Fr. Prof. M. Lubański - presented his personality and achievements. In this session, the following also appeared:

- prof. dr hab. Wanda Zagórska - "On the subjective relationship in modern conditions"
- prof. related dr hab. Włodzimierz Bojarski - "Christian Worker and Entrepreneur"
- Fr. prof. dr hab. Ryszard Moń - "The Dignity of Work in the Perspective of Scientific and Preformative Management"
- prof. Ph.D. Jan Terelak "Managing Organizational Stress - A Psychological Perspective".
- Andrzej Boguslawski - "Activities of the Association of Catholic Entrepreneurs"
- Tomasz Sztreker - "Tasks and achievements of the TALENT Entrepreneurs and Employers Pastoral Office".
At the beginning of the XNUMXnd plenary session there was a ceremony of awarding the title of honorary professor to the President of WSZ-SW. After this event, lectures by foreign guests began:Prof. Dr. Svitlana Kuznetsova, Assoc. prof. Dr. Andriy Kuznetsov, Prof. D. Eco. SC Volodymyr Martynuk,Hon. prof. doc. Vasyl Zaplatinskyi Ph.D., Prof. ASBH, Assoc. Inga Uriadnikova Ph.D., Prof. Dr. Angelė Lileikienė ,Assoc. prof. doc. Dr. Jurgita Martinkienė, Mantas Svazas, Manta Liberte, Prof. Dr. Valentinas Navickas, Mykolas Navickas, and also representing the Warsaw School of Management-University: dr inż.
