On June 22, 2017, the International Scientific Conference "Modern Aspects of Management" was held in Odessa, Ukraine, organized by the Warsaw School of Management - University of Warsaw. The conference was attended by academics from Poland, Ukraine, the Czech Republic and Slovakia.
The aim of the conference was to present and analyze the priority issues of contemporary management in the conditions of economic globalization, the latest trends and concepts in management science, as well as the methods and tools used in it, as well as development perspectives and research directions for the future in the proposed thematic areas:
1. Management of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs)
2. Innovation and project management
3. Human resource management
4. Quality management
5. Legal aspects of management
6. Security management
7. Management in institutions
8. Marketing and management
9. Contemporary theories and concepts of management
10. Change management
11. Knowledge management
On the other hand, the utilitarian goal of the conference was to integrate international scientific communities, disseminate the results of research on the development of the scientific discipline of management and implementation of research in business practice.
Much attention was paid to innovation in business and research. During the conference, 16 papers were delivered, which will be published in a scientific monograph published in Ukraine - later this year. The sessions were accompanied by an active and substantive discussion, which significantly influenced the scientific value of the conference and contributed to the broadening of the knowledge of the thematic areas covered in the presentations.
