WARSAW MANAGEMENT SCHOOL - GRADUATE
AND POSTGRADUATE SCHOOL is a non-government academic institution operating
according to the statute accepted by the Ministry of National Education
by decision No. DNS-3-TMB/89/92 from December 22 1992, and on the base of higher
education law obligatory in Poland.
The School was established by the
Scientific Society for Organization and Management (TNOiK) a professional,
non profit association of higher utility which is acting since 1925.
The highest authority at the School
is the Council of Patronage. It is a social body which consist of, among
others, representatives of: TNOiK, President of Warsaw City, Polish Chamber
of Commerce, Polish Confederation of Employers and representatives of the
School. Rector leads the School.
The School specialises in education
of managers and management specialists. We are training our students how
to manage an enterprise in a qualified and efficient way and we also educate
specialists in the field of diagnosing, planning, formulating the policy
and strategy of the firm, in various marketing and organizing functions
as well as the preparation and implementation of changes into the firm.
Our School offers:
GRADUATE ACADEMIC STUDIES ON MANAGEMENT
Intramural and extramural. Intended for alumni of high /secondary/
schools who would like to devote themselves to the career of a management
specialist in the domain of a chosen line of business and for who intend
to perform management functions such as head of department or manager in
a chosen or own enterprise /firm. The graduate will get a diploma of completion
of academic studies and the title of licentiate after 3 years of studies,
and master degree after additional 2 years.
Also we offer POSTGRADUATE STUDIES
for practicing managers and specialists who have already got their first
academic degree. We are running:
POSTGRADUATE STUDIES ON MANAGEMENT
OF HUMAN RESOURCES IN AN ENTERPRISE.
POSTGRADUATE STUDIES ON MANAGEMENT
OF ENTERPRISE (in the conditions of European Integration).
POSTGRADUATE STUDIES ON VALUATION OF REAL ESTATE.
Duration of studies: one year.
Due to the obligatory rules the graduation are getting academic certificate of completion of postgraduate studies.
Beside educational activities we also
provide CONSULTING SERVICE on request. In this case our School is acting
as advisor - consultant or "company doctor" and performs diagnostic and
therapeutic works which embrace, among others, the evaluation of the firm,
identification of key problems and elaboration of necessary changes using
our original methods.
